Denny's released the following statement on the accident. "We are shocked by the news of the accident at our North Houston restaurant and our thoughts are with those guests who were injured in the accident. We are assisting local law enforcement with this situation and ask that any further questions be directed to them. At this time, we expect our North Houston restaurant will reopen as early as tomorrow. We apologize for any inconvenience our temporary closure may cause and look forward to serving our guests again soon."
Around 10 a.m. Wednesday, a car crashed into the Denny's restaurant on Airline and North Freeway. Denny's says guests dining in the restaurant at the time of the crash were injured, but there is no word on the extent of the injuries. We'll update this post with any new details we receive.
