Airborne SUV hits tree, taco truck in fatal North Houston crash
The single-vehicle wreck happened about 6 a.m. in the 7700 block of Airline near Gurney, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the driver of a black Chevrolet Suburban was traveling northbound on Airline when the sports utility vehicle veered from the road and hit a wooden light post. The SUV went airborne, hit a large tree and a taco truck and ended up stopping in the parking lot of a furniture store.
