Hi! My name is Katie, and i'm with the newspaper at my highschool, hillcrest. I am currently writing an article on Teen car crashes in Utah for the month of October, and i was wondering if there is any way i could get the statistics for car crashes? If you could respond as quickly as possible, it would be highly appreciated :) Thanks for your time! Have a great day!

Hi Katie! The best way to try to get this information is to go the the federal government site NHTSA. I was able to find this document that lists fatal accidents by state, but their site is full of really great information. I wish you the best of luck! Ingrid Accident Data Center

Katie - another great resource is through thte CDC website.  If you're looking for an angle for your article I would suggest emphasizing the fact that teens are twice as likely to be involved in a fatal crash with the primary reason being inexperience and speed.  Good luck in helping your classmates be safe on the roads!
