The crash — which occurred 3 miles west of Emory on westbound Interstate 80, near mile marker 173, according to the Utah Department of Transportation — was still under investigation at 6 p.m., but Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Cameron Roden confirmed that there was a fatality.
