Officers and emergency personnel responded shortly after 7 p.m. to a three-vehicle crash involving a red Ford pickup truck, a red Ford Edge SUV and a semitractor-trailer, according to a statement released by the Utah Highway Patrol Thursday morning.

The Utah Highway Patrol said the red Ford F-150 truck, driven by Huntington, was traveling south on U.S. 89 about 10 miles north of Kanab about 7:20 p.m. when it began to pass a southbound semitrailer.
