One dies in Midvale freeway crash
The crash has shut down two right lanes of northbound I-15 in the area, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.

At about 9:25 p.m., two vehicles collided on I-15. The driver of one of the vehicles, identified as Don Smith, exited his vehicle and attempted to cross the freeway to reach the other driver, but was hit by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
