Leavitt, 34, of Pleasant Grove died in a fiery collision with a semi-truck, after veering into oncoming traffic near Spanish Fork Canyon, according to a press release. The collision caused the semi-truck to jackknife and spill two trailers full of coal onto the highway. It also caused a brief fire in the cab of the semi-truck, injuring driver David Lee of Orem. Lee was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for treatment and later released, according to the press release.
