Tooele boy hit by car is released from hospital

An 8-year-old Tooele boy, initially listed in critical condition after a weekend collision with a car, had been released from the hospital and was recuperating at home Monday. Tooele police spokeswoman Tanya Turnbow said the boy was struck about 6 p.m. Saturday after he rode out of his driveway near 200 West and 700 North and into the path of the northbound car.
