UHP trooper hits motorcycle in Wendover accident

A UHP trooper was driving east on Wendover Boulevard following a motorcyclist, according to Utah Highway Patrol. The motorcyclist slowed down to take a left-hand turn into a parking lot, but the trooper had momentarily looked away and didn’t immediately realize the motorcycle had stopped, UHP said.
The man who was driving the motorcycle only sustained minor injuries and was taken to the University of Utah Hospital via ambulance. The woman was airlifted to the same hospital with facial lacerations but is expected to be okay.
