"From the accounts of all the witnesses on scene, it appears the motorcycle went through a red light and struck the passenger car broadside," he said.

WVCPD spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku said Rich is believed to have run a red light at 6200 South and Mountain View Corridor about 4:15 p.m. Sunday. His westbound motorcycle struck the side of a northbound white passenger car.
