Michael Gibson, 71, dies in 3-vehicle wreck on Route 250 in Augusta County, Virginia
Virginia State Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Augusta County
Investigators say 71-year-old Michael Gibson of Buena Vista, Virginia, was driving a Jeep Cherokee on Route 250 when he crossed into the westbound lanes, sideswiped a SUV and hit a box truck head-on. Gibson was transported to Augusta Health, and died at the hospital. The drivers of the two other vehicles, both from Staunton, are hurt, but expected to be OK.
