A woman driving a motorcycle was killed in a hit and run crash early Sunday morning.

Virginia State Police say the accident happened on I-664 at the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel, just south of Terminal Blvd.

A 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe was driving north on the interstate and swerved into the right lane to avoid slowing traffic. When the driver swerved the SUV hit the 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 24-year-old Newport News woman has been identified as Taeisha Wilson. She was ejected off the bike and killed.
