The driver of a U.S. Postal Service truck was airlifted to a local hospital after an accident in Suffolk Monday afternoon, officials said.
The two-vehicle crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Wilroy Road, according to a news release from the City of Suffolk.
The driver of the mail truck was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to receive treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening, while the driver of a pick-up truck involved in the accident was not hurt, officials said.
