Driver died after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree off of Ruthers Road in Chesterfield County, Virginia

Police said a 2007 Chevrolet Impala was traveling north on Ruthers Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver of the Impala was transported to an area hospital, where he later died of his injuries. Identification is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
