Wednesday, a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Monroe Street and a vehicle traveling northbound on Van Buren Street when they collided. Herndon Police are asking for witnesses to a fatal motorcycle crash that happened Wednesday morning on Monroe Street. All parties remained on scene and fully cooperated with police. Anyone who witnessed or may have information about this accident is asked to call the Herndon Police at 703-435-6828. No charges have been placed at this time, the accident remains under investigation, Herndon Police said in a release.

19-year-old from Ashburn died in motorcycle collision

Police identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash in Herndon as Steven Tyler Radich, a 19-year-old from Ashburn. Radich was riding his motorcycle on Monroe Street at 9:30 a.m. At the intersection with Van Buren Street, he collided with a car. At this time, the driver of the car has not been charged with any crime. Police said Thursday that they are still investigating the crash.
