State Patrol investigates incident in Orchards

A sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle collided with a passenger vehicle Tuesday night in the Orchards area.
A sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle collided with a passenger vehicle Tuesday night in the Orchards area. The crash was reported at 11:34 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 137th Avenue and Northeast Padden Parkway. At the time, an on-duty Clark County sheriff’s deputy, whose name was not released, was responding to a call with emergency lights activated; the type of call was not released by the sheriff’s office. The southbound patrol vehicle struck a passenger vehicle upon entering Padden Parkway. The driver and sole occupant of the passenger vehicle, whose name was not released, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The Washington State Patrol is investigating the collision and determining who was at fault.
