Police say two Vancouver women died when a pickup truck crashed into a tree and light pole early Saturday in Vancouver. The driver, 32-year-old Julie E. Deming, died at the scene and the passenger, 21-year-old Brittney K. Deter, later died at a hospital.
Two Vancouver women identified as victims of Saturday's fatal crash
Julie E. Deming, 32, was the driver of a Ford F150 that crashed into a tree and a light pole at Southeast McGillivray Boulevard and Southeast Olympia Drive just before 2 a.m. Saturday. Deming was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brittney K. Deter, 21, of Vancouver was a passenger in the vehicle and was transported to an area hospital but did not survive her injuries, according to Vancouver police.
