Three people were injured in an early morning crash on Interstate 205 after Washington State Patrol say a driver fell asleep at the wheel.

Three people were injured in an early morning crash on Interstate 205 after Washington State Patrol say a driver fell asleep at the wheel. Christina Hardesty, 28, of Kelso told troopers she fell asleep while driving a 1996 Audi A4 south on the interstate, according to state patrol. The Audi struck the rear of a 2003 Ford Explorer just after 4 a.m. today near Northeast Burton Road in Vancouver. Hardesty and her passenger John O’Brien, 37, of Kelso were both injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. The driver of the Explorer, Martha Magdalenomontiel, 37, of Vancouver was also injured and taken to the hospital. All were treated and released.
