Detectives look for driver in fatal Auburn hit-and-run
Troopers said Stanley Christopher was walking on the shoulder lane with a friend as they were on their way to get gas.
A vehicle drove on to the shoulder lane, struck and killed Christopher, Troopers said. It is unkonwn if the friend was hit.

Cell phone records show that Marshall's phone was located near the hit-and-run and the vehicle arson at the same time of both events, and made calls and texts after both incidents, as well, according to the State Patrol.
