A preliminary investigation found that the driver had been heading south on Petersville Road and ran a stop sign at Sylvan Way. The driver then plowed through a yard before plunging down an embankment and slamming into the victim's residence.
Following the investigation, the driver was booked into the Kitsap County jail for investigation of vehicular assault.
