Four Vehicles Involved in Interstate 5 Crash

A four-vehicle crash took place yesterday near mile marker 82 in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in Centralia.

Jack G. Kennedy, 71, of Abbotsford, British Columbia, failed to stop his semi-trailer truck in time for three vehicles that were stopped for traffic on northbound I-5. He struck a white 2002 Volvo station wagon in the rear, which then hit a 2003 Honda Civic parked in front of it, and that car went on to rear-end a 2009 Toyota Corolla.

5 things survivors of a commercial truck accident need to know

After someone is seriously injured in an accident involving a commercial truck, they struggle to deal with injuries, medical treatments, lost work and wages, and growing medical bills. Commercial truck accidents are more complicated than other types of vehicle crashes, since the resulting injuries are often more severe, and insurance coverage for commercial vehicles is often complex, involving multiple carriers with higher policy limits.
