Police say a 7-year-old boy was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Everett, Wash.
Police spokesman Aaron Snell says the child was in a car that was reported speeding erratically Tuesday night when it clipped another vehicle, then spun into oncoming traffic where it collided with a minivan.
The Snohomish County medical examiner's office says Josiah Alves died of blunt force injuries to the head.

Child dies in Everett crash
A child is dead after a collision in Everett on Evergreen Way.
Around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to Evergreen Way near Bruin Boulevard. Witnesses told officers that the driver of a black BMW had been speeding and driving erratically southbound when it clipped another southbound vehicle. The BMW spun into oncoming traffic where it collided with a northbound minivan, according to Officer Aaron Snell.
Crash kills child on Evergreen Way in Everett
Police in Everett are investigating a fatal crash Tuesday evening that took a child's life.
The collision occurred in the 7800 block of Evergreen Way around 6 p.m., Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said.
