Pedestrian killed while crossing Highway 99 in Everett.

A 30-year-old man had died after being struck by a car as he attempted to cross Highway 99 near Manor Way in Everett around 10 p.m. Thursday night.

A 30-year-old man had died after being struck by a car as he attempted to cross Highway 99 near Manor Way in Everett around 10 p.m. Thursday night. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as 30-yer-old Dahai Guan of Federal Way. The driver of the vehicle was headed southbound on Highway 99 when Guan reportedly stepped in front of him. It was determined that the driver was not at fault.
