The incident is described as a head-on collision between two vehicles, one traveling eastbound and the other travelling westbound on SR 202. Following the initial collision, the vehicle travelling eastbound continued to travel eastbound on the westbound lanes and struck a third vehicle.
Two drivers were killed in a head-on collision at Highway 202 between Redmond and Fall City, the Washington State Patrol said late Sunday. A passenger in one of the colliding cars was in critical condition, State Patrol Trooper Chris Webb said. In his Twitter account, the officer added that both drivers died at the scene. Webb said in a phone interview that a third car was involved in the accident, with a person suffering “a minor injury” if any. The third car had “minimal damage.” Webb said that the collision took place where Highway 202 meets 244th Avenue Northeast.
