Pedestrian seriously injured after being stuck by car in Redmond

Northbound 148th Avenue Northeast was closed for about an hour after the collision. The cause of the accident has not been determined, police said.

The man sustained nonfatal injuries to his chest and torso region, said Janessa Rosick, public information coordinator for the RPD.

A pedestrian is currently in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center after being struck by a car at about 6:00pm. The driver remained at the scene of the crash, but no further information was available. Check back for updates.
