A man is recovering at Harborview Medical Center after he was hit by a vehicle Friday night on Interstate 405, said the Washington State Patrol.

A man is recovering at Harborview Medical Center after he was hit by a vehicle Friday night on Interstate 405.  The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of I-405 around milepost 9 before 11 p.m.  A driver in a Dodge Intrepid pulled over on I-405. A passenger in the vehicle got out, ran across lanes into traffic and was struck by a Jeep Cherokee.  Crews took the man to the hospital.
