Driver arrested in deadly SeaTac hit-and-run

One person died after a hit-and-run in SeaTac on Monday evening. The King County Sheriff's Department said two people were walking across the street near South 150th Street and Military Road when the car hit them. It is a dark road and investigators said the two were not walking at the crosswalk. Officers tracked down the driver, who they say was likely under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The other pedestrian was expected to be OK.

Ferguson told investigators she didn’t see the men, the probable-cause paperwork says. The men had been standing in the middle of the road, sheriff’s officials said.
