2 women seriously hurt in hit and run crash, suspect arrested
Seattle Firefighters were dispatched to a hit and run crash at about 10:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of Martin Luther King Jr Way South. A car with two women inside crashed into a pole on the train tracks and the car then caught fire. Firefighters had to extricate both people from the car and extinguish the fire. The women, both in their 30's, were taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
Seattle Police confirmed they caught a suspect involved in the hit and run a short distance away from the crash scene.
