Police said the driver of an SUV was speeding in the northbound lanes of State Route 99 just north of the Aurora Bridge at North 39th Street around 1 p.m. As the woman tried to take a right turn, she lost control of the car and hit four people walking on the sidewalk.

Radalyn King, 23, was charged Wednesday with two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of vehicular assault, felony hit-and-run, and reckless driving. She remains jailed in lieu of $500,000 bail, jail records show.
