Suspected drunk driver with toddler in car hits pedestrian

The injured pedestrian, a 59-year-old Fircrest man, was found down on the pavement. SPANAWAY, Wash. - A 20-year-old woman suspected of driving drunk with a 2-year-old girl in her car struck and injured a pedestrian in a crosswalk Thursday in Spanaway, the Washington State Patrol reports. The 2-year-old girl in the car with her was uninjured. She was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail for investigation of DUI and vehicular assault, the State Patrol said. Fletcher showed signs of intoxication, according to the State Patrol.
