The crash happened Thursday around 1 p.m. Washington State Patrol said Charlotte Mills, 77, of Colbert, was trying to cross the northbound lanes on Highway 2 to go southbound. They said Mills drove in front of Trisha Kline, 37, of Spokane Valley.
