Man killed in hunting accident outside of Colfax identified Posted: Updated: Update: The man killed in a hunting accident outside of Colfax Saturday morning has been identified as 31-year-old Nicholas Nava-Farias of Kennewick. The Whitman County Sheriff's Office reports one person has died after an early morning hunting accident outside Colfax, Wash. But by the time emergency crews located the hunting party, the injured hunter had died. Deputies and emergency crews responded to the call of an injured member of a hunting party near Glenwood Road about four miles east of Colfax. The Whitman County Sheriff's Office and officers from the Department of Fish and Wildlife continue to investigate the shooting.
