Darby M. Evans, 19, and Jeffrey W. Gunn, 21, injured in collision with driver Timothy Gricks, 49, on Craig Road near Medical Lake, Washington

MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol is investigating a two-car collision that happened on Highway 902 about three miles east of Medical Lake on Monday. Troopers said Gricks struck the vehicle driven by Darby M. Evans, 19, of Medical Lake, that was traveling westbound on Highway 902. Evans and a passenger in the vehicle, Jeffrey W. Gunn, 21, of Edwall, were injured and taken to the hospital. According to troopers, Timothy Gricks, 49, of Cheney, was driving southbound on Craig Road approaching Highway 902, when he failed to stop at the stop sign. Troopers cited Gricks for Failure to Yield.
