Two men died early Wednesday morning after driving into Moses Lake. The driver of the vehicle allegedly ran the red light at Stratford Road, continued through the parking lot before hitting a PUD power box, heading down a grassy embankment, causing the vehicle to roll into the lake.

Witnesses told police they saw a speeding SUV about 1 a.m. Wednesday. It left a road through a restaurant parking lot and went down a grassy embankment and landed upside down in about 5 feet of water

Witnesses observed a Jeep SUV east on Valley Road driving at a high rate of speed, according to the Moses Lake Police Department.
