9-year-old child died in a single-vehicle crash involving icy road conditions at Road U-SE and Road 12-SE in Warden, Washington

Grant County Sheriff's officials initially posted about the wreck at 6:44 a.m. Grant County Sheriff spokesman Kyle Foreman says the vehicle the child was riding in crashed at Rd U-SE / Rd 12-SE just north of the border of Grant and Adams counties. Authorities say a patch of ice caused the vehicle to lose control and crash.
