Seattle man killed, 3 others injured in collision near Cle Elum

CLE ELUM, Wash. - A Seattle man was killed and three others were injured in a crash near Cle Elum on Sunday, the Washington State Patrol reports. The driver of the Subaru, later identified as Paul D. Rodgers, 54, of Seattle was killed in the crash. State troopers and medics responded to the scene, about five miles east of Cle Elum on Highway 10, at about 5:20 p.m. after receiving a report of a serious accident. The driver of the Explorer and his passenger, a 27-year-old Thorp woman, were both airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His passenger, a 46-year-old Seattle woman, was injured and taken to a local hospital.

Bobby Owens, 22, and Jennifer Look, 27, of Thorp were driving eastbound on SR10 at 5:23 p.m. when their vehicle crossed the center line into the westbound lane. The 1994 Ford Explorer struck a westbound vehicle driven by Paul Rodgers, 54, with Michelle Dubois, 46, of Seattle a passenger in Rodgers' 2012 Subaru Outback, according to the WSP.
