Two injured in a snowmobile crash near Roslyn, Washington
TWO INJURED IN SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT NEAR ROSLYN
Crews with Kittitas County Search & Rescue and Kittitas County Fire Districts No. 6 and 7 responded to the scene where they discovered a snowmobile that had lost control, gone over an embankment, and crashed into a cluster of trees. The driver of the snowmobile, a 52-year-old man from Auburn, suffered minor injuries and was taken via ambulance to a Yakima-area hospital.
Snowmobilers rescued after Cooper Lake accident
On Feb. 18, KITTCOM caught SOS signals from a GPS device subscriber in the Cooper Lake area, according to the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. As sheriff deputies and Kittitas County Search & Rescue headed out to respond, a snowmobiler called to say he had come across two injured snowmobilers who had gone over a 50-foot embankment into a heavily wooded ravine. The pair was a husband and wife, both 52 years old, from Auburn.
