A Honda Accord was found in the intersection and the semi was stopped in the southbound lane outside the intersection when law enforcement and emergency personnel arrived on scene according to the Yakima County Sheriff's Office. The 25-year-old driver of the Accord was removed from the car and life-saving measures were tried by emergency personnel, however, the man died from his injuries at the scene.
