Yakima teen killed in off-road four-wheeler crash near Tampico
The boy’s name is being withheld at his family’s request, the release said.
Emergency personnel responded to reports of an ATV accident at 3 p.m. Saturday about 4 miles up the dirt road portion of North Fork Road near Tampico. A 16-year-old Yakima boy had veered off the roadway in his 2004 all-terrain vehicle and gone down an embankment into a heavily treed area. He died at the scene.
