Coroner: Man found near Yakima Greenway drowned by accident

A number of Nagle’s belongings were found in a camp hidden in brush along the river, according to Yakima police.

At about 11:40am, police received report of a man, identified as David Nagle, 51, found dead floating in a pool of water near the Naches river. A coroner has confirmed that the cause of Nagle's death was drowning, and as there were no signs of foul play, his death has been rule accidental. It is uncertain if drugs or alcohol were a factor, but toxicology tests are underway.
