Local media reports that according to Mercer County Prosecutor, George Sitler, 27-year-old Morgan Smith Walker was arrested on charges including DUI causing death with reckless disregard.
UPDATE: Funeral procession route announced for fallen Bluefield officer
The funeral procession route for fallen Bluefield, West Virginia officer Lieutenant Aaron Crook has been announced.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Brushfork Armory.
Factors That Contributed To Bluefield Police Officer Crash, Death Revealed
Bowles says in a news release, that upon arriving at the location where the fleeing vehicle stopped, Crook’s police cruiser was struck by another Bluefield police vehicle. Bowles says Crook was thrown from his vehicle, and seconds later, a state police cruiser collided with the city police vehicles.
