A car crash early Thursday on Milwaukee's south side left two people injured, one of whom was said to be in serious condition.

A car crash early Thursday on Milwaukee's south side left two people injured, one of whom was said to be in serious condition.

At around 2:30 a.m., a car speeding west on National Ave. lost control and drove into a light pole near 30th St., Milwaukee police said. The driver and passenger both were injured and taken to the hospital.

The driver, a 21-year-old man, is in grave condition, while the passenger, a 19-year-old man, is in good condition, police said.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
