Police seek suspect in fatal hit-and-run crash on Milwaukee’s northwest side

One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Milwaukee’s northwest side early Wednesday morning, March 25th. It happened near N. 91st St. and Fond du Lac Ave. around 5:40 a.m.

Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying the driver of a blue minivan involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Milwaukee.

Arrest made in connection with Wednesday fatal hit-and-run crash

"He has been a wonderful employee from our perspective, for sure," said Cheryl Lightholder of Goodwill Industries. "We're all family and we're all devastated by this."

A 61-year-old Milwaukee man was walking near N. 91st St. and Fond du Lac Ave. around 5:40 a.m. Wednesday when he was struck by an older model blue minivan traveling at a high rate of speed. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information about the crash is urged to call the Milwaukee Police Department.
