Lt. Mark Stanmeyer said a 21-year-old Milwaukee man confessed to driving a stolen Plymouth Breeze that was involved in the crash at 18th Street and Atkinson Avenue.
The crash occurred on 18th Street and Atkinson Avenue Saturday night when a hit-and-run driver ran through a stop sign and struck a vehicle carrying Rio Devone Washington, 26, his wife, and their 10-month-old son. Washington was killed, and his wife sustained unknown injuries. Their baby, a 10-month-old, is in critical condition.
