Authorities identify Wauwatosa man killed by train

James Fox's brother tells authorities his brother had a history of brain cancer and had limited peripheral vision in one eye. He said he had mild to moderate hearing loss and had just received new hearing aids.
65-year-old James Fox of Wauwatosa died in a Wednesday afternoon collision at a railroad crossing. The cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries and the death was ruled an accident. The Canadian Pacific Railway train was traveling at 35 mph when it hit Fox. The conductor saw him on the tracks and activated whistles while also fully applying the brakes, but the train was unable to stop in time.
