Police cited a man from Cody after a crash with a motorcycle resulted in the death of a man from Loveland, Colorado, the Wyoming Highway Patrol reported.

A Cody, Wyoming man has been cited for careless driving in a crash that killed a motorcyclist from Colorado. The Wyoming Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Tyler Schwab lost control of his 2000 Toyota Tundra while momentarily looking water for water bottle he had dropped while driving on Wyoming Highway 120 Friday. The Cody Enterprise reports that he swerved into the oncoming lane and struck 41-year-old Christian Tafoya of Loveland, Colorado about 40 miles northwest of Thermopolis.
Tyler Schwab, 40, lost control of his car while looking for a water bottle he had dropped. He swerved into the oncoming lane and struck 41-year-old Christian Tafoya. Tafoya was thrown from his motorcycle and later died at the hospital.
