Worth, TXAccording to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials, a shuttle bus struck a man and woman in the 4900 block of Harry Hines Boulevard at about 6:50 a.m. The man was dragged by the bus for nearly 50 yards before the bus stopped, and was killed on impact. Charges are pending against the bus driver. The man, identified as Randal Dygert, was a long-time nurse at Parkland Memorial Hospital. The woman, also an employee of the hospital, was taken to Parkland where she is in stable condition, but little else about her condition is known.

Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXAuthorities say a driver was heading south in the northbound lanes of Bishop Avenue when he slammed into a tree near West Davis Street in the Biship Arts District at about 11 p.m. The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXAt around 7:30 a.m. Friday, Martha Perez, 52, was struck and killed by a northbound driver along Alpha Road near Preston Road in Dallas. According to the victim's boyfriend, the victim lives on one side of the road and was picking up something from a store on the other side. When she did not return quickly, he went to find her and found her shoe and umbrella in the middle of the street. The driver fled the scene. Worth, TXSometime before 7:40 Wednesday morning, the 27-year-old driver of a 2015 McLaren P1 lost control and struck a guardrail after driving over a wet spot in the road while driving on McKinnon Street just before the Dallas North Tollway, heavily damaging the brand-new car. Both the driver and his 24-year-old passenger were taken to Parkland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The exotic car was sold by the Park Place Premier Collection dealership Tuesday, one day before the crash, and the "hyper-car" is valued at more than $1 million.
