Sometime before 7:40 Wednesday morning, the 27-year-old driver of a 2015 McLaren P1 lost control and struck a guardrail after driving over a wet spot in the road while driving on McKinnon Street just before the Dallas North Tollway, heavily damaging the brand-new car. Both the driver and his 24-year-old passenger were taken to Parkland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The exotic car was sold by the Park Place Premier Collection dealership Tuesday, one day before the crash, and the "hyper-car" is valued at more than $1 million.
