Five people have been injured, three seriously, in a rollover crash on I-95 near the Lantana Road exit, said a spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Rescue crews responding to the 10:17 a.m. crash found that several people had been ejected from their vehicles. An initial report indicated that one person may had been ejected onto the Tri-Rail tracks, causing the rail service to be temporarily suspended. No one was found lying on the tracks, and a short time later Tri-Rail service was resumed.
A car hit a bicyclist in Fort Collins Friday morning sending the biker to the hospital.
The crash happened at Prospect Road and Riverside Avenue.
The driver of the car did stay at the scene.
No information on the biker’s injuries has been released but he was ticketed for disobeying the traffic signal.
A young driver and her teen passenger suffered critical injuries after the driver failed to negotiate a sweeping curve in the road near Sherwood.
The Washington County Sheriff’s office said today that the driver, 25-year-old Morgan McFarland, is hospitalized in critical condition. The condition of 17-year-old passenger Leah McFarland isn’t known. The women are from the Seattle area and are cousins.
The crash occurred about 6 p.m. Friday, when McFarland lost control of her Honda Civic and collided with a Dodge Durango. The driver of the Durango was not injured .
A Stafford County, Va., fire truck responding to an emergency call hit and killed a man who was crossing the street.
The accident occurred Friday night on Warrenton Road near I-95 just outside Fredericksburg.
Deputies said the man was not using the crosswalk at the time of the crash. Medical crews rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Bond Yang, 89, was struck by the vehicle in the 8800 block of North Leclaire Avenue in Skokie, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Yang was pronounced dead at Evanston Hospital at 10:15 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. His home address was not immediately available

An autopsy conducted Saturday determined Yang died from blunt head trauma as a result of being hit by the SUV and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.
A two-year-old girl was struck and killed by a car at the 600 block of Angler Drive in the Delray Shores community within Delray Beach on Friday.
Initially the driver involved in the crash left the scene, but returned and is currently cooperating with the on-going traffic homicide investigation.
As this is an ongoing investigation, the driver has not yet been charged with any crimes.
