Friday, December 27, 201349-year-old Kyle Marc Aaron Matteson of Jensen Beach died Saturday after crashing the 1999 Yamaha ATV he was driving. Matteson was traveling northbound along the west side of the Florida East Coast Railroad's right of way in Jensen Beach. According to FHP, he steered the ATV sharply to the left and in doing so the vehicle overturned. Matteson was trapped underneath the vehicle. The time of the crash is unknown.

Lafayette, LATroopers with the Louisiana State Police arrested Charles Moter, 58, on charges stemming from a vehicle crash that left three people dead Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened on Louisiana Highway 343, south of U.S. Highway 90. Authorities said Moter was trying to pass a northbound vehicle when he came within a hazardous proximity to a vehicle driven by Nathaniel Malone, 31, of Duson.
Malone steered left to avoid a crash, authorities said, but the front of Moter’s vehicle struck the right side of Malone’s vehicle.

Friday, December 27, 2013A man injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday in Jupiter has died. Jeffrey J. Guiffre, 61, of Jupiter, was turning left onto Military Trail from Dakota Drive at about 4:30 p.m. when Jupiter Police say he lost control of his motorcycle and tumbled onto the street. When firefighters arrived, they found him lying motionless on the street, in the town’s Abacoa section. He was airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where he died of his injuries.

Washington, DCWashington Township police are investigating a Saturday crash that resulted in the death of a Hagerstown, Md., man.
Police said Sunday that Delbert Stevenson died following a crash that occurred on the 11000 block of Anthony Highway, Waynesboro.
According to police, a vehicle, operated by Jason Pecho of McConnellsburg, was traveling west on Tomstown Road, and failed to stop at a stop sign.
In the intersection, he struck Stevenson’s 2012 Chevrolet, which was traveling north on Anthony Highway, police said.

New York, NYGreenwich policed are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a Middlebury woman Saturday morning.
The 21-year-old student was struck around 2:00 a.m. in the William Street parking lot. Police said the driver stopped briefly and then fled scene in a red sedan.
Investigators said the car is low to the ground with chrome wheels and may have possible front-end damage.
The suspect is described as a male with short brown buzzed cut hair and tan with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a long sleeved shirt with a gold chain and cross.

Charlotte, NCNorth Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident that happened Saturday night.
Troopers say a truck driver was driving on I-77, near the Mount Holly-Huntersville Road Overpass, when he drove his truck off the road and overturned.
The truck driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
Fifty-five gallons of oil was thrown from the truck, but it has been cleaned up since the accident.

New York, NYA driver who was allegedly drunk hit and killed a 61-year-old man who was walking across a Long Island road Saturday afternoon, police said.
Officials said Brian Dudley, 41, hit the man while he was crossing Elmont Road at the intersection of Cerenzia Boulevard in Elmont at around 3:30 p.m.
The man was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
According to authorities, Dudley was intoxicated and has been charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.

Friday, December 27, 2013A Lancaster County man was killed in a car accident at Route 441 and Long Lane in East Donegal Township late Saturday night.
Wagdy Behnam Abdel Shaheed, 56, died after Shannon Thurman , of Wrightsville, who was traveling south on Route 441, turned into the northbound lane and struck Shaheed’s vehicle head on, police said.
Thurman, 33, was extricated from her vehicle and flown to Hershey Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Her passenger, William E. Fox, 33, of Marietta, was taken to Lancaster General Hospital, for treatment.
Police still are investigating the accident.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLA 20-year-old Bay area man was seriously injured Saturday morning when he was hit by a vehicle while walking along Bee Ridge Rd. in Sarasota.
David Adam Cornell was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report the incident occurred just after 5 a.m. just west of Center Gate Blvd. Investigators say Cornell, a Sarasota resident, was walking on the sidewalk when the unidentified vehicle left the roadway, went up on the sidewalk and hit him.

Indianapolis, INA 23-year-old man was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital early Saturday morning after being trapped inside of a car after it crashed.
It happened around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Brookeville Road and South Post Road.
Officials say the 1999 Black Chevy Equinox was driving east on Brookeville Road when the driver lost control of the car causing it to roll over. The driver was trapped inside for about 30 minutes. He was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation. Medics say he didn't complain of any pain and no serious injuries were found.
